Job Summary
Deliver fast, friendly service by greeting seated guests, taking food and drink orders, and entering them into Micros accurately. Prepare drinks and food using bar recipes, garnish items, and deliver trays to designated areas while maintaining drink levels and removing clutter. Manage cash and credit card transactions, complete bar inventories, and perform opening/closing duties including bussing and resetting tables. Monitor guest demeanor, enforce alcohol awareness procedures, and address unusual matters by informing the supervisor. Maintain a clean station, adhere to sanitation protocols, and foster a cooperative team climate in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Must be skilled in effectively communicating with Guests
- Must be friendly and able to smile frequently
- Must demonstrate ability to operate Micros
- Must be able to make changes
- Must be able to accurately conduct credit card transactions
- Must be able to account of all monies at the end of each shift
- Must be able to follow all bar recipes
- Must be able to adhere to company's sanitation procedures
- Must be able to follow alcohol awareness procedures
- Must be able to assess Guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager
- Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Must be able to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
- Must be able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Must be able to read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk or stand 100% of shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Must be able to dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
