Job Summary
Greet guests with hospitality, take food and beverage orders, and apply upselling to create a memorable bar experience. Possess complete knowledge of bar and menu items to make recommendations, check IDs for 21+ compliance, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes, and maintain stock levels. Responsibilities include clean as you go, inventory updates with the Bar Supervisor, opening/mid/closing procedures, handling payments, and assisting guests or directing them to resources as needed. Requires 1+ year bartending experience, ServSafe and Alcohol training, POS proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends in a fast-paced cinema environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of bartending experience with a full bar
- ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications required
- Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management
- Organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude
- Great communication skills with the ability to handle complex and stressful situations and issues in a positive manner
- Flexible working hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends
