Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery for guest satisfaction. Key duties include providing detailed information about menu items, managing orders through the POS system, maintaining the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and responding to guest concerns. Candidates should have strong knowledge of beers and spirits, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Being a team player and maintaining cleanliness and organization in a high-paced restaurant environment is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong beer and spirits knowledge
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
