Job Summary
Greet guests and create a welcoming atmosphere while taking drink orders and preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain knowledge of recipes to recommend new or popular drinks, ensure the bar remains stocked, and keep the area clean, organized, and sanitized. Process payments accurately, monitor alcohol consumption to adhere to local laws, and handle customer complaints with professionalism. Collaborate with staff to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, standing and lifting up to 25 pounds in varied weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally able to serve alcohol in the state of Florida and have the ability to obtain necessary certifications (e.g., alcohol service permits)
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong organizational and time management skills
