Job Summary
Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes; maintain bar sanitation and safety; provide exceptional guest service; answer questions about menu; take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment; restock and replenish bar inventory; complete assigned sidework; ensure guests are enjoying their experience and invite return; 1+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant; extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer; professional appearance and ability to work flexible shifts; must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol; Food Handler Certification and Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years’ bartending experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine)
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol
- Food Handler Certification
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
