Job Summary
Bartender at Brewers at 4001 Yancey in Charlotte, NC, will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, manage bar stock, enter orders into POS, collaborate with kitchen staff, perform bar prep, maintain a clean and stocked bar, comply with alcohol service laws, process payments, interact with guests to educate them about products, and assist with opening/closing duties and side work. Strong hospitality mindset, craft beverage knowledge, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and ability to lift 60 pounds are required. The role is based in the taproom at ABV’s Charlotte location and is part-time with opportunities for growth; ABV emphasizes equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Experience with craft cocktails is desired
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate the POS system
- At least one year of related experience
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds
