Job Summary

Take and serve orders accurately while preparing drink orders for guests and servers following established guidelines. Input orders at the point of sale to maintain accountability of all items served and ensure proper bar setup daily. Adhere to food, health, and safety standards while maintaining stock, cutting, and storing fresh garnishes and perishables. Secure liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas; check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase. Assist in beverage inventory management, cost control, and major club function setups. Handle member problems and complaints professionally or refer to leadership for support. Perform duties on weekdays, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule as business dictates. Drive a golf cart to transport between areas of the 914-acre property and meet all Texas driver's license requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License
  • Must meet the driver safety policy requirements
  • Must be able to regularly stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner
  • Must be able to regularly work outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine
  • Must be able to Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Must be able to Adhere to food, health and safety standards
  • Must be able to Follow & adhere to opening, closing, and requisition procedures developed for the bartender position in Food & Beverage
  • Must be able to Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality
  • Must be able to Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Must be able to Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis according to established Standards
  • Must be able to Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism with each team member and guest
  • Must be able to Take and serve orders accurately and with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to Prepare drink orders for guests and servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by Bluejack Recipes & Standards
  • Must be able to Inputs orders at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest to maintain accountability of all food, beverage, and miscellaneous items served
  • Must be able to Ensure par levels in beverage products and bar supplies are appropriately maintained at all times in all areas of responsibility
  • Must be able to Assist in the supervision of beverage product inventory management and cost control
  • Must be able to Maintain open communication in regards to conflict resolution with co-workers
  • Must be able to Handle member problems and complaints as professionally as possible or refer to F&B leadership for support
  • Must be able to Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of all major club functions and events as needed
  • Must be able to Assist in other roles or tasks
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Must have attention to quality and detail
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Must have Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Must have Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to assist in other roles or tasks
  • Must be able to reflect the Bluejack brand in their appearance, behavior, and communication
  • Must have a polished, conservative presentation: natural hair and nail colors, minimal jewelry, closed-toe professional shoes, and no visible tattoos or off-brand logos
  • Must be able to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior Bartending experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus
