Job Summary
Greet and serve guests warmly while mixing drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Keep the bar clean, well-stocked with ice, and organized; restock supplies as needed. Operate the cash register and handle transactions with precision, managing tabs and POS systems. Never serve two drinks simultaneously to one person and stay vigilant for signs of intoxication, following care training guidelines. Maintain composure in high-volume, stressful casino environments while adhering to alcohol regulations and local gaming certifications. Minimum of 18 months of related experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience, particularly in a casino or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink pairings, and alcohol regulations
- Demonstrates openness to feedback and direction, with the ability to adapt and improve based on guidance
- Minimum of 18 months of related experience required
- Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 - 30 pounds
- Endurance to walk and stand throughout assigned shifts
- Comfortable with exposure to: Smoke, Bright lights, Noise typical of a casino setting
- Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proficiency in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes
- Mix and serve drinks according to established recipes or customer preferences
- Experience with cash registers, POS systems, and managing tabs
