Job Summary
Bartenders at Besos y Abrazos will provide energetic and professional customer service, mix drinks, take orders, and promote current promotions. The role requires effective communication with guests and staff, a good understanding of beverage offerings, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds. Qualifications include 1-2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of various beverages, fluency in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Other languages preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card
