Job Summary
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages, mix ingredients for cocktails, and take orders while serving snacks and drinks. Assess customer needs and preferences to make recommendations, check identification to confirm legal drinking age, and restock bar inventory and supplies. Plan and present the bar menu, ensuring the area remains organized, stocked, and clean. Comply with all food and beverage regulations while delivering great guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of a second language is a plus, and relevant training certificates are required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
- Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate inclement weather
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
