Job Summary
Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, mix cocktails, and serve snacks and drinks to patrons while assessing their needs and making recommendations. Interact with customers to take orders, check identification for legal drinking age compliance, and restock bar inventory and supplies. Plan and present the bar menu, keep the area organized and clean, and ensure all food and beverage regulations are followed. Work flexible AM and PM shifts at BB's Cajun Cantina in Houston, Texas, with competitive hourly pay plus tips. Previous bartending experience and TABC certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Resume and proven working experience as a restaurant Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (TABC)
- TABC Certification
- Must be willing to work some server shifts occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Previous restaurant bartending experience preferred
