Job Summary
Prepare drinks in accordance with established guidelines while maintaining bar cleanliness standards. Greet guests promptly, use suggestive selling techniques, and record beverage orders into the computer system. Monitor guest drinks to anticipate re-order requests, collect monies owed, and perform guest check accountability procedures. Wash bar service ware, set up, clean, stock, and maintain the bar area and cooler. Perform inventory activities as scheduled and execute procedures for verifying guest ability to legally purchase alcohol. Complete all training requirements and perform Server responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or food preparation
- Experience in and passion for consumer service
- Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player
- An attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach
- Delivering quality beverages consistently and according to shop standards
- Ability to handle all required tasks around handling cash register
- Learn all menus and is able to communicate all food and beverage offerings
- Clean and clear service areas
- Perform correct POS transactions, closing duties and accounting procedures as required
- Ability and desire to obey all local, state, and federal laws
- Ability to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items
- Regular movement: walking, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, lifting (up to 50lbs), etc.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
