Job Summary
Bartender responsibilities include preparing drinks per established guidelines, maintaining bar cleanliness, and delivering a high-quality guest experience. As the location’s expert on bar systems, recipes, and beverage knowledge, you will greet guests, perform suggestive selling, record orders, handle payments, monitor drinks for re-orders, assist servers, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with alcohol-service laws. You will also train as needed, perform to-go and food-order support, and maintain bar areas and equipment. The role requires experience in customer service, flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to handle cash and POS transactions, with a focus on delivering world-class service and accurate beverage preparation.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- At least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or food preparation
- Experience in and passion for consumer service
- Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player
- Delivering quality beverages consistently and according to shop standards
- Ability to handle all required tasks around handling cash register
- Learn all menus and communicate all food and beverage offerings
- Ability to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items
- Knowledge, skills, and ability to operate cash register and POS system
- Ability to obey local, state, and federal laws related to alcohol service
