Job Summary
Bartender at Residence Inn Raleigh - Downtown prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes, serves wine/champagne/beer/mixed drinks, and ensures guests are of legal drinking age. Maintains professional appearance, greets guests, follows safety and security policies, completes safety training, and collaborates with the team to meet service and budget goals. Requires experience in high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environments, strong customer service, and ability to train others; flexible schedule including nights and weekends; on-site presence at the hotel with ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotels, restaurants, country clubs, or banquet facilities with high volume and active serving environments
- Exceptional people-pleasing orientation
- Strong professional and personal work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly, train others, and develop and maintain positive work relationships with Banquet Manager and Banquet Servers
