Job Summary
Bartender at Medinah Country Club with full-time and part-time opportunities. Responsibilities include setup and breakdown of bar and restaurant, stocking and maintaining beverage inventory, glassware and garnishes, processing requisitions, performing side work, keeping the bar clean and presenting while delivering friendly service, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per service standards, answering questions about menus, taking and processing orders via POS, making beverage recommendations to members and guests, owning member requests, and additional duties as assigned by management. Requires BASSET certification, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, experience in private clubs is a plus, and the role involves a fast-paced service environment with potential for holiday and event coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a willingness to serve with a positive attitude.
- Must have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must work effectively with a team.
- Must have the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must have previous bartending experience, starting rate will depend on prior experience.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, club events, and most holidays.
- Must be BASSET certified.
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 35lbs.
