Job Summary
Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes, craft signature cocktails, and recommend drinks to enhance the guest experience. Take orders accurately using the MICROS POS system, present bills securely, and maintain stock levels through regular inventory checks. Keep service areas clean, operate equipment in compliance with health and liquor laws, and set up venues for smooth service. Work closely with kitchen and floor teams, attend briefings, and deliver professional service aligned with Sofitel brand standards. Requires current Queensland RSA certification, bartending experience in a luxury venue, and availability across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bartending experience in a hotel, bar or restaurant, ideally in a luxury or high-volume venue
- Current Queensland RSA certification
- Solid cocktail, wine and beer knowledge
- Confidence to make a recommendation
- Speed and accuracy through a busy service without losing the warmth
