Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to guests. Key duties include providing information about menu items, managing orders via POS system, maintaining stock levels, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least two years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Strong knowledge of beer and spirits, along with safe alcohol service practices, is essential. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong beer and spirits knowledge
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
