Job Summary
Bartender position at Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities include preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interacting with guests, taking orders, serving with a warm, friendly demeanor, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, side work, and cash/credit handling. Requires minimum 1 year of high-volume bartending experience, valid alcohol certification, strong English communication, knowledge of wine/spirits/beer, POS proficiency, food service experience, and stamina for long hours; must be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays; and able to lift up to 25 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Bartender in a high-volume setting
- Valid alcohol certification
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Experience serving food
- Elevated knowledge of wine, spirits and beer
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Labeling & stocking all bar ingredients & garnishes so they are organized & easily accessible
- Operating equipment and bladed tools following safety standards
