Job Summary
Conduct daily bartending duties by managing the bar, placing accurate POS orders, and delivering food and beverages with urgency. Verify customer age for alcohol service, handle cash transactions, and take manage all To Go orders while adhering to responsible beverage service requirements. Maintain a clean and organized bar top and storage areas, assist servers by running drinks, and help the Host encourage seating. Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework while ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. Work a full shift standing, walking, and lifting loads over 50 pounds in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED preferred
- 1 to 3 years' experience bartending in Food and Beverage environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol as determined by applicable state law
- Able to free-pour to recipe and specification; extensive knowledge of beer, wine and liquor
- Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills
- Able to interact professionally with other Customers and Team Members
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good judgment and decision making abilities
- Must be able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, and reaching
- Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position
- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing or crouching in narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Climbing and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Must be able to carry loads greater than 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to communicate clearly with our Customer in the primary language of the restaurant
- Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
