Job Summary
The Bartender at Fourth Street Live! is responsible for providing energetic and professional service, mixing and preparing beverages, taking orders, and ensuring guests meet legal consumption age. The position requires effective communication with guests and staff, knowledge of various drink recipes and products, and the ability to handle, lift, and move heavy items safely. Candidates need at least 1-2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of liquor brands and preparation methods, and must possess necessary certifications as required by local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Additional Requirements
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
