Job Summary
Verify customer identification for alcohol compliance, take food and beverage orders, and prepare drink and appetizer orders according to recipes. Monitor lounge seating, compute bills, and manage sales receipts while maintaining temp and waste logs. Clean work areas, stock kitchen and bar stations, inventory supplies weekly, and arrange bottle displays. Limit liability by discontinuing service to excessive drinkers and notify management of potential issues. Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions. Work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six months related experience
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to read write and speak the English language
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
- Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours
