Job Summary
Deliver, collect, and maintain traffic management equipment including barriers, signs, cones, and guarding across the Leicester region. Set up and remove signing and lighting on work sites, while delivering reinstatement materials such as sections and lids to operational teams. Ensure all sites are left clean, tidy, and safe upon completion, and assist the public by directing them safely around work areas. Operate company-issued mobile devices to receive work instructions, upload photographs, and complete site records. Perform daily vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness and adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable using mobile phones, tablets and work management applications
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling activities, including lifting and moving barriers and equipment
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and flexibility
- NRSWA Street Works qualification
- Signing, Lighting and Guarding (SLG) accreditation
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 Traffic Management requirements
- Previous experience within utilities, highways, traffic management or reinstatement operations
