Job Summary
Collect geologic data, map, sample, and log RC chips and cores while identifying lithology, alteration, and mineralogy associated with gold systems. Ensure data integrity through QAQC procedures and synthesize data to support drill program execution and targeting. Interpret downhole televiewer data for drill targeting, deliver progress reports, and present findings to stakeholders. Maintain zero harm standards across all field activities. This junior role supports exploration and geoscience teams using modern geoinformation platforms and GIS tools within Barrick Gold's North American operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

- Experience with GIS platforms, including configuration, administration, or customization
- Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively across teams
