Job Summary
Lift, carry, place, and assemble traffic control equipment while delivering and retrieving barricades for work zone protection. Assess job sites to identify optimal protection areas based on speed limits and lane usage, then set up compliant traffic devices and conduct drive-through reviews to resolve safety concerns. Repair, refabricate, and install work zone equipment while assisting with inventory management and record keeping. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Must work overtime, nights, weekends, and in varying weather conditions. Training provided to ensure job proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, road signs, and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and in varying weather conditions
- Must pass a DOT drug screen, DOT Physical, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and background check
