Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and organization in both barns, feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of over 40 draft horses daily. Groom and bathe horses for tours, harness them to carriages, and assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs. Work collaboratively with the team to uphold high standards of animal care and customer service while managing a flexible schedule including weekends and shifts from 6am to 11pm. As a member of Old South Carriage Co's family-owned Barn Crew Team, you contribute to the exceptional carriage touring experience that showcases Charleston's charm.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with horses and a strong comfort level around them
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and demonstrate southern hospitality in all interactions
- Valid driver's license
- Open availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends and both AM and PM shifts
- Open availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends and both AM and PM shifts
- AM shift availability starting as early as 6am
- PM shift availability staying as late as 11pm
