Job Summary
Greet guests courteously, record and repeat orders for accuracy, and input details into the Point of Sale system. Prepare beverages to order standards, assist with food collection, and ensure dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen. Process cash, credit card, and charge sales; balance tip slips and run end-of-day financial reports. Maintain station cleanliness by wiping surfaces, sanitizing equipment, and performing side duties like restocking and inventory checks. Familiarize yourself with the hotel layout and outlet hours, then perform any cleaning tasks pertaining to the outlet.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position
- Familiar with hotel layout and hours of operations for each outlet
- Ability to perform any cleaning tasks that pertain to the outlet
- Any combination of education that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience as a barista preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team
