Job Summary
BIGGBY Barista in Portland, MI: provide fast and friendly service to guests, use suggestive selling, follow drink-making procedures with precision, engage customers at the delivery counter, maintain a clean, energetic store atmosphere, ensure products are stocked, and perform weekly/monthly store maintenance. Responsibilities include quality-control checks (airpot temperatures, espresso extraction timing, thermometer calibration, skim/half-and-half temperatures) and ensuring overall store quality. Candidates should enjoy coffee, communicate well, read/write/interpret documents, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and possibly travel.
