Job Summary
Greet guests, process cash and credit card transactions using the P.O.S. system, and manage closing procedures. Operate and maintain the espresso machine while serving the Cocoa Beanery menu. Handle telephone inquiries, answer guest questions, and address complaints. Complete storeroom requisitions and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Work in a fast-paced environment 70% of the shift, multitasking during the work day. This part-time union position at Hershey Lodge requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with seniority determining shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Organizational skills
- Ability to properly speak and write English
- Positive attitude
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to answer and use the telephone
- Ability to cashier and closeout
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, write, push, lift up to 50 lbs., squat, speak clearly, memorize, stock, and listen
- Ability to determine the degree of safety, cleanliness, and quality of product
- Willingness to work weekends
- Willingness to work holidays
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
- Ability to meet scheduled requirements
