Barista - Temporary

Job Summary
Barista responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso, tea beverages, and related food products; set up, maintain, and clean stations; operate espresso machines and other equipment; assist with catering and events; provide excellent customer service and accurate order fulfillment; follow food safety/sanitation practices; work in a fast-paced, team-oriented SpaceX environment; must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25lbs, and work all shifts including overtime as needed; ITAR compliance required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of barista experience or 2+ years in customer service in a food service environment that includes coffee and/or beverage services
- Preferred: 3+ years of barista experience
- Ability to carry large, heavy items unassisted (up to 25lbs)
- Must be able to stand for long periods – up to 8-12 hours a day
- Ability to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holiday(s) as needed
- TX Food Handlers card (training provided internally as needed)
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS: U.S. citizen or national, green card holder, refugee or asylee or eligible to obtain authorizations
