Job Summary
Prepare classic espresso beverages including cappuccinos, macchiatos, and cortados while consistently dialing in shots and creating latte art. Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality by interacting with colleagues and guests with genuine care, maintaining attention to detail in a high-volume environment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success. Work closely with co-workers in a team-oriented atmosphere at the Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye, located under the lights of Times Square.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a barista in a similar environment
- Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position
Desired Qualifications
- Possess a passion for coffee
- Ability to prepare classic espresso beverages (cappuccinos, macchiatos, cortados etc.)
- Familiarity with current trends in the specialty coffee and tea industry
- Ability to dial in espresso and pull great shots consistently
- Ability to create latte art
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact and communicate with all colleagues and guests with genuine hospitality
