Job Summary
Barista role preparing coffee shop beverages and food, operating the cash register and processing payments while delivering courteous customer service. Responsibilities include brewing and blending beverages to set standards, food item preparation, maintaining food safety and sanitation, stocking items, rotating merchandise, understanding checkout equipment, communicating store programs and promotions, and following safety guidelines. May be assigned tasks in other departments based on needs; the position requires adherence to PPE, safety, and cleaning expectations, with travel requirements varying by assignment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Good verbal communication skills; ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
- Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required
