Job Summary
Prepare and serve specialty hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, warm and plate dessert items, and take orders from guests for food and beverages. Collect payments, maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, and follow health and safety guidelines while adhering to recipes and presentations. Explain menu item preparation, describe ingredients and cooking methods, and provide guests with local area information and directions. Work full-time in a lively, fast-paced environment within a growing farmer-owned restaurant company known for great food, drink, and thoughtful sourcing.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
- Are punctual
- able to observe regular and consistent attendance
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in a full-service restaurant or coffee shop preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
