Job Summary
Greet customers, answer questions, take orders, and accept payments while preparing and serving food and drinks. Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace, update displays, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality controls. Sell coffee and tea blends and brewing equipment, highlighting product differences and educating customers on brewing methods. Clean, restock, and sanitize equipment and utensils, taking inventory to replenish items in display cases and behind the counter. This part-time role at The Henry Ford, a nonprofit cultural destination, requires availability for peak hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early morning weekends, and holidays
- This is a physical position that requires frequent standing, walking, and bending
