Job Summary
Provide friendly, hospitality-driven service in a fast-paced Blank Street cafe; responsibilities include preparing coffee and other beverages using a world-class program, delivering consistent, welcoming customer service to turn customers into regulars, maintaining food and beverage freshness and quality, minimizing wastage by following par levels, and upholding local health standards. Role involves training through accreditation programs, collaborating with Operations and Marketing teams to drive foot traffic and sales, cash handling, and working both part-time (15-25 hours) and full-time (30-40 hours) schedules with weekend availability. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 25+ lbs, and be authorized to work in the U.S.; benefits include paid time off, commuter benefits, sick time, and shift perks.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in a customer service position, preferably in hospitality or coffee
- 18+ years of age
- Able to lift 25+ lbs, and to stand for long periods of time
- Availability that meets the needs of our cafes
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (I-9)
