Required Qualifications

• •Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and mission of Maverick Gaming.
• •Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standards and to set a positive example for the shift team.
• •Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
• •Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third Place environment during each shift.
• •Contribute to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in associate morale and performance, and communicate them to the store manager.
• •Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discover and respond to customer needs.
• •Follow Wendover Maverick operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
• •Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• •Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• •Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
• •Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• •Create a friendly atmosphere for guests and team.
• •Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• •Ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) system.
• •Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.
• •Posses basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.
• •Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification as needed.
• •Strong interpersonal skills.
• •Resolve problems using good judgment, displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.
• •Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
• •Ability to work near moving or mechanical parts.
• •May work near toxic/caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles.
• •Constant handling with microwave oven.
• •Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• •Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 100 lbs.
• •Authorized to work in the U.S.
