Job Summary
Ensure regular attendance and punctuality while adhering to store operating policies for quality beverage preparation, cash handling, and store safety. Engage with customers to understand their needs through clear communication and prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize them based on requests. Be flexible to perform various tasks within the store during each shift, including standing and walking for extended periods while lifting up to 30 pounds. Availability includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive guest experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and support team members during assigned shifts.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions during daily operations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant, coffee shop, retail, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Previous Starbucks or specialty coffee experience.
- Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions.
- Food Safety Certification (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
