Job Summary
Greet all guests in a welcoming manner while preparing beverages, serving coffee and pastries, and selling marketplace merchandise. Operate the TOAST POS system for cash handling, take customer orders with attention to customizations, and memorize the menu to recommend items. Maintain workstation cleanliness and stock levels of cups and ingredients while responding promptly to guest service issues by reporting them to the Restaurant Manager on Duty. Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures, including lifting up to 30 pounds and wearing required closed-toe shoes.
Required Qualifications
- Kind, hardworking, and team-oriented personality
- Must have ability to obtain Food Handlers and TABC license
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to memorize recipes
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual in a complete uniform for any scheduled shift
- Knowledgeable of basic sanitation
- Ability to stand and exert fact paced mobility for periods of 5 hours or more with a high energy level
- Ability to lift, push, pull and move 30 pounds
- Closed toe, non-canvas and non-skid soled shoes
