Job Summary
Make and serve specialty coffee, tea, and additional hot/cold beverages while adhering to recipes and presentations. Greet customers with a positive attitude and sell baked goods and miscellaneous food items. Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation by sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning grinders. Manage cafe inventory and process payments via cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. This part-time role requires Guilford College students only, with a preference for previous barista experience and POS skills. Competitive pay, uniforms, meals, and benefits including health, vision, and dental are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ability to switch between locations and job duties
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Barista and/or Cafe experience preferred
- POS experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and good organizational skills
