Barista - Full Time

Barista role in a Pret shop focused on delivering Barista prepared drinks to Pret standards, with responsibilities including maintaining drink quality, back-counter efficiency, cleanliness and team training. The role involves coaching and training Team Members and Baristas, liaising with Coffee and Barista training teams, conducting briefs and meetings, updating training materials, and upholding Pret’s dress code and service standards. The Barista will engage customers to promote Pret Buzz, manage queues, deliver drinks with accuracy, perform latte art, and ensure milk and coffee quality through tasting and weighing. Additional duties include reporting ingredient quality issues, maintaining equipment, hygiene and food safety compliance, stock/waste control, achieving weekly sales targets, and supporting promotional initiatives. The role requires upholding health and safety, food safety standards, and contributing to shop profitability through waste control and knowledge of the menu.
