Job Summary
Full-Time Barista at Fresh Baguette bakery cafes in the DC/MD/VA area. Provide friendly customer service, handle cash and credit transactions, offer product recommendations, and bake a variety of breads and baked goods. Prepare products for the next day’s baking schedule, organize and maintain freezer/fridge areas, pack delivery items with proper storage, and set up inviting bread displays. Maintain store safety, sanitation, and food storage standards while making and serving baked goods, sandwiches, salads, breads, and pastries with attention to detail. Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers. Roles include Baking, Barista, Sandwich Making, and Customer Service. Benefits include a compensation range of $19.00-$21.00 per hour (tips included), PTO for full-time, health/dental insurance after 90 days, 401K with match, employee discounts, and growth potential. Shifts include early, mid, and late, with 5 days a week including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Open Availability to work Monday-Sunday
- At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment is required
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
