Job Summary
Barista role responsible for greeting guests, taking and processing orders on the POS, serving beverages and food, following recipes, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and completing opening/closing checklists. Ideal candidate has at least six months in food service, English proficiency, strong customer service, cash handling skills, and compliance with food-handling and brand certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience in food service environment
- High school diploma preferred
- Verbal and written communication
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders
- Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service
- Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops
- Food handlers permit as required by law
- Brand Certification as required
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
- Ability to operate a keyboard & POS procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
