Job Summary
Barista at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® in Scottsdale, responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention, educating customers about premium coffees and teas, handling sales transactions, maintaining store cleanliness and operations, and supporting training and events as needed. Key duties include selling products, taking orders, cash handling, answering questions about products, promoting promotions, maintaining store standards, and adhering to brand guidelines. Must be able to train new baristas and assist with errands and special events; high school diploma or equivalent and strong verbal/written communication skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail / specialty store or food establishment preferred
- Register and cash handling experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
