Job Summary
Greet guests with a warm smile and welcome, engaging in friendly conversations using the 10/5 rule while providing personalized service by using guest names. Operate the cash register and MMS system accurately, ringing proper amounts and managing change while maintaining financial controls. Prepare a variety of espresso and coffee drinks to Khavee standards, keeping the designated working area clean and organized in accordance with health and safety protocols. Resolve service issues, promote current casino events, and assist guests with directions to all casino areas. Complete assigned side work and adhere to the duty roster. This role requires passing barista certification with a score of 90% or better and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to accurately and quickly process all cash, and charge transactions
- Available to work required schedule which may include weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet physical appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder
- Must be able to grip small items
- Must be able to bend, stoop and twist
- Must be able to reach across tables
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Must be able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping counters and table tops
- Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
- Must pass barista certification with a score of 90% or better
Desired Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience in a high volume, sophisticated restaurant preferred
