Job Summary
Prepare and serve exceptional coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to The Hoxton's quality standards while maintaining expert knowledge of brewing techniques and milk texturing. Deliver warm, memorable guest experiences by confidently upselling menu items and seasonal specials, ensuring seamless collaboration with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams. Maintain the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards within the coffee bar, monitor stock levels of beans and syrups, and ensure all equipment is cleaned and operating efficiently. Handle cash and POS transactions accurately while staying up to date with coffee trends to continuously develop product knowledge. Join an innovative, fast-growing international group opening its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia's Bengaluru city centre in 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop, lifestyle restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee extraction, milk steaming and latte art
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, engaging and guest-focused approach
- A passion for coffee, attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high-quality beverages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards
