Job Summary
Barista creates and serves specialty hot and cold beverages according to Eataly’s recipes across multiple QSR counters, delivering high-quality, fast-paced service. Must be knowledgeable about coffee menu items, set up stations, replenish displays, manage allergens, handle FIFO inventory, weigh/grind/pack beans to guest specifications, operate POS with cash accuracy, and maintain clean, compliant work areas. Works across all QSR counters including pastry, gelato, pizza, and other Italian delicacies, maintaining composure during peak periods. Strong guest-service and communication skills, with the ability to perform basic math and follow production directions. Reports to QSR General Manager and QSR Assistant General Managers. 1+ year barista experience preferred; availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
