Job Summary
Prepare and serve authentic Italian espresso, coffee, and café drinks at multiple QSR counters while operating the Point of Sales system and managing cash drops. Set up stations, replenish displays with allergen separation, and maintain FIFO standards by weighing, grinding, or packing coffee beans to guest specifications. Provide exceptional service with product knowledge, clean and sanitize work areas per health agency standards, and work across counters serving pastry, gelato, and pizza. Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume and perform other duties as assigned. Hourly rate is $15.50 plus tips; availability includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, ovens, drink blender, juicer and Point of Sale
- Dexterity for rapid and consistent espresso creation
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred
- High school diploma preferred
