Job Summary
Produce intricate beverage recipes using standardized ingredients and specialized equipment while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Multitask duties including cash handling, stocking, and sanitation to support the operation. Identify quality issues in ingredients or finished products and correct them immediately. Perform effective service recovery for customer expectations and prepare for semi-annual health department inspections. Operate and troubleshoot kitchen equipment as needed. Create personalized customer experiences by demonstrating product knowledge and fulfilling specific requests.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and computer skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Food service and cash handling experience
- Must be able to identify ingredients/finished products that do not meet established quality standards
- Able to operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment
- Able to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve or refer to leadership
- Able to multitask to perform a variety of duties/roles within the operation including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities
- Able to learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes
- Effective work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
- Able to create an excellent experience for the customer
- Able to create personalized experiences for the customers while demonstrating knowledge of products and accuracy in fulfilling highly specific customer requests
- Able to perform effective service recovery if the products do not meet the customer's expectations
- Able to maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area
- Able to prepare for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections
- Drug-free workplace compliance
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement if in an on-site or hybrid workplace category
