Job Summary
Barista/Confectionary Sales (Part Time) at Yummi Joy in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to walk-ins, coffee and ice cream prep and serving, and menu creation; daily duties cover equipment maintenance, facility cleanliness, health code compliance, stocking shelves, and FIFO management. Requires FOH coffee, confectionary or food experience; enthusiasm for candy, coffee and vegan products is a plus; strong merchandising and creative display skills, positive disposition, and good teamwork. Pay starts at $14/hour plus tips; up to 29 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- FOH coffee, confectionary or food experience
- Love and knowledge of candy, coffee, confections - vegan knowledge a plus
- Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity
- Possess a cheery and positive disposition
- Work and communicate well with all staff
- Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers
- Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary, ability to work majority of 8 Hr shift on your feet
- Up to 29 hours of your dedicated time
