Job Summary
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, execute clean latte art, and dial in espresso to maintain quality throughout the shift. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and café equipment while taking customer orders and managing the cashier/POS system. Handle front-of-house service for a small seating area, assist customers with menu items, and maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and front area. Support basic bakery service and light operational tasks as needed. This hands-on role combines specialty coffee preparation with front-of-house duties in a small, artisanal bakery café environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a barista in a café or specialty coffee setting
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Ability to perform both barista and front-of-house duties
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced environment
