Job Summary
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee adhering to Origin's specific brewing recipes and techniques while maintaining consistency in flavour and presentation. Engage with customers to educate them on speciality coffee, provide personalised recommendations, and build brand loyalty through meaningful interactions. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and manage stock levels to support operational excellence, ensuring all health and safety and hygiene standards are upheld. Act as an ambassador for the brand's sustainability values and contribute to retail displays and community events. Collaborate with the retail team to drive efficiencies and improve workflows in this high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a coffee or hospitality setting
- Strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced coffee environment
- Ability to manage a high volume of tasks, orders and interactions
- Ability to manage workflow efficiently
- Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and composure
- Experience of working in a multi-site environment
- Comfortable operating coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues
- Manual handling capability
